Our events are open to Acorns families, past, present or currently on our waiting list.

We'll be running sessions for Acorns parents and carers who would like to invest in some musical self-care.

Led by Hannah, Music Therapist, and Alyson, Family Support Worker, weekly group sessions will use music and listening to support relaxation, wellbeing and being in the present moment. There will also be time for a cuppa and a chat.

Sessions will take place on Thursday mornings, 11-12, at East End Community Centre, Kettlewell House, George Street, North Shields NE30 1EL, an accessible venue in North Shields. Drop in as you like, but it is essential to book online in advance as there are only 8 places available each week.

Sessions are FREE of charge and no prior musical experience or skills are necessary to join. Please contact alyson@acornsproject.org.uk for more information.
